My first time in
Yogyakarta
My friends and I went to
Yogyakarta last year. It was my first trip to this city. We went there one day by bus from Pare, Kediri. We arrived at
Yogyakarta at 5 o’clock. I spent one month staying in English village. We
arrived at Lumayan Restaurant in Yogyakarta which is 7 minutes away by bus to
Borobudur temple.
My friends and I walk around the
Borobudur temple. We saw many foreigner at the Borobudur temple. We took
pictures with many foreigner together. We spoke English with foreigner there. After
that we back to Lumayan Restaurant for staying a while. Because, we want to
recharge our energy.
We went to malioboro street. We
saw so many merchant with various of product which they claim to be a
traditional product of Yogyakarta. I bought bakpia and accessories with the
word “Yogyakarta”. My friends bought some bakpia, because of the taste is very
delicious.
We spent the rest of our weekend in Yogyakarta by visiting
borubodur temple, malioboro mall and malioboro street.
